Next-Gen iPads In Production With Anti-Reflective Coating
While many Apple fans are interested in the next iPhone, the net generation of iPads have also gone into production, according to Bloomberg News. Bloomberg says that the new full-sized iPad Ait will be announced later this quarter or early next quarter, and the 7.9 inch model should be available to the market by the end of this year. Here is more from Bloomberg:
“Mass production of a full-sized iPad with a 9.7-inch screen is already under way, with an unveiling projected for the end of this quarter or early next, said two of the people, who asked not to be identified because the details aren’t public. A new version of the 7.9-inch iPad mini is also entering production and will probably be available by the end of the year.”

As for specification, the next iPads are said to have faster A8 processors, Touch ID fingerprint scanners, and improved cameras. But, Bloomberg now reports that Apple will also add something new to the mix: anti-reflective coating. That could make the iPad Air easier to read. There is no word whether the iPad Mini will also get this updated screen, but it has been reported that this new screen feature is harder to build.
The iPad has received criticism for its reflective screen and visibility in the sun. Hopefully Apple can address this and improve it as much as they can.
